Maame Tiwaa reaffirms commitment to reset agenda in new Interior Ministry Role

Commissioner of Police (COP) Maame Yaa Tiwaa Addo-Danquah, recently appointed as a Technical Advisor to the Interior Ministry, has expressed her full support for President Mahama’s reset agenda.

During a welcome event on Thursday, March 20, hosted by the Minister of the Interior, Muntaka Mohammed Mubarak, COP Maame Tiwaa affirmed her unwavering commitment to the objectives of the Ministry.

She pledged to utilize her extensive experience and expertise in law enforcement to facilitate meaningful progress within the Ministry.

The reassignment to the Interior Ministry came just hours after she was appointed as the Director-General of Research & Planning at the Ghana Police Service.

She expressed her heartfelt gratitude for the warm welcome she received from the Minister and his team.

Teamwork
In his welcoming remarks, Muntaka emphasized the importance of teamwork and building positive working relationships among all stakeholders.

He highlighted that collaboration is essential for achieving the overarching goals set by the Ministry and expressed his eagerness to work alongside COP Maame Tiwaa to pursue these objectives. “Our collective efforts will be instrumental in effectively addressing the challenges faced by the Ministry,” the Minister stated.
