Kusaug Traditional Council Backs Asantehene’s Mediation in Bawku Conflict

The Kusaug Traditional Council has reiterated its commitment to supporting the Asantehene’s ongoing mediation efforts in the Bawku conflict.

In a statement issued on May 5 and signed by its registrar, Hamidu Ayisha, the Council emphasized, “We believe in the importance of dialogue and peaceful resolution.”

However, the Council also expressed concern regarding certain audio recordings circulating on social media that seem to undermine Otumfuo Osei Tutu II’s efforts to achieve lasting peace in Bawku.
