Billboard has named Nicki Minaj the greatest female rapper of all time, topping their list of the Best Female Rappers.
The ranking also includes legendary artists like Missy Elliott, Lauryn Hill, Lil’ Kim, and Queen Latifah, who occupy the second to fifth spots.
The top 10 is further filled out by influential names such as MC Lyte, Salt-N-Pepa, Roxanne Shanté, Eve, and Foxy Brown. Surprising to some, Nicki’s rivals, Cardi B and Megan Thee Stallion, were ranked outside the top 10, landing at 11th and 15th place.
While Nicki Minaj’s influence on hip-hop is undeniable, she has yet to win a Grammy, a distinction that both Cardi B and Megan Thee Stallion have earned in rap categories.
