Government Secrecy Suspected in Cocaine Plane Controversy

There are growing suspicions that the government may be concealing information regarding the cocaine plane saga.

This belief has intensified due to the inconsistencies displayed by the Minister of State in charge of Government Communications, Felix Kwakye Ofosu.

In a recent development, the minister muddied the waters by posting photographs and videos on Facebook that allegedly show engineers repairing damaged tyres on the landing gear of the Air Med aircraft at Kotoka International Airport (KIA).

Explanation
According to Felix, the damaged parts and the engineers were brought in by a different aircraft, which is why the first plane remained in Accra for five days.

Contradictions
However, many people have dismissed this explanation, arguing that it contradicts previous statements made by the minister.

One individual pointed out that the AirMed plane that landed at KIA had a specific tail number N823AM. Yet, Felix is now displaying a different AirMed plane with an alternate tail number N864AM.
“This explains the frustration that some are directing towards Rev. Ntim Fordjour. Strangely, Kotoka International Airport experienced its largest blackout in history at the same time the plane we are discussing was at the airport,” the poster noted on Facebook.

“Clearly, the more they defend themselves, the more they expose their own inconsistencies. It is evident that the government is hiding something.”
