Mahama Set to Receive Czech President Petr Pavel on Groundbreaking State Trip

President John Dramani Mahama is set to welcome Petr Pavel, President of the Czech Republic, for a three-day State Visit to Ghana from April 8 to April 10, 2025.

This marks the first visit by a Czech President since diplomatic ties were established between Ghana and the former Czechoslovakia in October 1959.

The visit also holds special significance as it will be the first State Visit hosted by President Mahama since his return to office in January 2025.

During his stay, President Pavel will engage in bilateral discussions with President Mahama, address a business forum, and inaugurate a Czech-funded health facility.

Additionally, he will tour iconic Ghanaian landmarks, including the Osu Castle and Kwame Nkrumah Memorial Park.

To honor the occasion, President Mahama will host a State Dinner for the visiting Head of State.

The visit is expected to strengthen Ghana-Czech relations and foster collaboration in areas of mutual interest. Further updates will follow as the visit unfolds.
